MB BCh (Cardiff 1988), MRCGP, DGM, DRCOG, Dip Palliative Medicine, Dip IMC (RCSEd) I undertook GP training in Llanfair Caereinion in 1991/2 and after four years as a GP Principal in Lincolnshire returned to Llanfair to take over from Dr Elfed Hughes. My main interests include Palliative Medicine and Pre-hospital Emergency Care. I am an active member of BASICS www.basics.org.uk and work closely with Dr Ian Russell from Welshpool practice in the local Montgomeryshire Emergency Doctors scheme http://www.gwertesting.co.uk/meds. I am married with 5 children and live locally. |
Dr Alun Jones-Evans (m)
MBBS 1993, DRCOG 1996, MRCGP 1997 I grew up and went to school on the other side of the Berwyn mountains in Bala. After completing my medical degree at the University of London I trained as a GP in Cardiff. Following a year spent working as a doctor in Australia I joined Caereinion Medical practice as a GP partner in 1999 and have been here since (other than a sabbatical year spent working in Western Australia recently.) I have an interest in diabetes, ultrasound and medical education. Outside work my interests include rugby, mountaineering, travel and building/diy. I am married and have 3 children. |

MBChB, MRCGP, DRCOG DFFP After qualifying from Liverpool University in 1997, Eleri completed post-graduate training in Wrexham and joined Caereinion Medical Practice in 2002. Interests outside medicine include walking, spinning, watching Dyffryn Banw FC and Moto GP. |
