Out of Hours

If you have a severe problem such as difficulty breathing, chest pains or heavy bleeding you should call 999.

If you need care that cannot wait until the surgery is open, please ring 111 which is a free number. If phoning from a mobile you may be unable to connect to this number- you will then need to phone 0345 4647 instead.

Telephone advice on a range of medical conditions is available from NHS Direct 24 hours a day. Their number is 111.

My Health Online - Make Appointment

Upon logging into My Health Online the following window will appear –

You can chose to make an appointment by clicking the “Appointments” option from the left hand side of the screen –

The system can be used for booking routine appointments with a GP, also blood tests and blood pressure readings with the nurse.

A routine GP appointment can be booked with any of the doctors –

Dr A Evans

Dr E Gittins

Dr L Hunt

Dr A Jones-Evans

Dr L Milne

A blood test or blood pressure reading can be booked with a nurse / Health Care Assistant (HCA) –

Sister Sandra Fox

Sister Suzanne Jones

Sister Ros Jones

Mona Jones

Louise Parker

Bethan Torne

Please note that appointments with the nurse for more complex clinics such as Asthma, Diabetes, Heart disease, or Smear tests, will need a phone call to the surgery as these require different appointments not available through the My Health Online system.

The “Details” option can be used to find out more information about the appointment.

Selecting “Book” will then book that appointment for you.

A confirmation of the booking will then appear –

The details can be printed by clicking the “Print” button on the bottom left of the screen. The appointment can be saved to your calendar too by selecting “Save to Calendar”

Clicking the “Appointments” button on the left of the screen will then display the appointments that you have booked –

The options on the right hand side of the screen can provide you with more details about the appointment – by clicking on the “Details” option.

Selecting the “Cancel” option will then cancel the booked appointment with the surgery.

Notification of the system cancelling the appointment –
